The knowledge of students is by virtue of their study in their management or technology subjects. It has to be directed to applications in organizations and domains. The knowledge of executives and managers in Business organization is by virtue of their experience in management. It has to be directed to Corporate Governance for better results. The knowledge of Project executives and managers in Software organization is by virtue of their experience in various projects. It has to be directed to the current and ensuing projects. The knowledge of department executives and managers in Government and Public sector organization is by virtue of their experience in administration and implementing government policies. Basically, am MBA with three decades of experience worked for public and private sectors in different domains, half of which was in Information System. When I look back the knowledge resources that I have acquired out of: Business management books, I have realized that 80% of the acquired knowledge remains intact but unutilized.

Should it not for e-Governance initiatives that all governments are heading for? Should it not for preparing MBA, MCA, BE/BTECH’s for their alignment in digital environment and creating a professional basis? Should it not for inducting training for the new entrants in business and information system organizations? Should it not for breaking the prevailing predetermined attitude that the knowledge acquired is different from the actual work and make relate it to? Even otherwise, the question comes, at what juncture, should we call upon the acquired knowledge for its application and that too the information system holding a predominant position? The focus therefore should be how to channelize the knowledge towards Business Process keeping Information System as its via media. For this, I have developed Organization Process Documentation and Integration (OPDI) methodology to provide a process base which will be useful for practicing managers, executives of both business and Information management, belonging to any industrial and service organizations and also to students community and consultants.
